Win a Free Music Video for Your Song

TLA Productions is excited to announce a contest that will award a prize of a free music video production. It is open to all musicians (except for those signed with major labels – sorry). You enter by submitting your song to us. We will put it to online voting, take the top five and then internally decide on our favourite.

Contest Start Date: August 30, 2010 (Videos uploaded before August 30, 2010 are ineligible)
Submission Deadline: November 15, 2010.

Submission Instructions

1. Upload a video to YouTube with your song (or part of your song in case you can't yet publicly release the single ). It can be a blank screen with the music playing, or, if you feel creative, you can add pictures/video of yourself or your band, etc. Be original! Make sure you title your video "TLA Productions Video On Us Contest" and then you can put in the name of your song/band/etc

2. Once the video is online, go to our Contest Video page and add your video as a VIDEO RESPONSE. (Follow the instructions in our video)

3. Then use your fan support to put your song in the top five. (Lots of hits and good YouTube ratings)

We expect to deliver the final video within two months of the submission deadline.

Prize Value: Priceless!!!

Well… no :), We do think highly of ourselves, but we would normally charge $5,000 for such a video. To get a better sense of the production value of the prize, please see our Contest Video. The prize includes all the services you need to make a broadcast quality music video.

The devil is in the details, so here's what’s included:

• Concept development and treatment
• One day of shooting in and around Toronto, Canada
• Top Notch Director/Cinematographer (Tom Antos)
• Film Crew
• Make-up artist
• Camera Package
• Lighting Package
• Studio Space (if necessary)
• Editing

As the final product, you will receive a DVD screener plus a digital HD copy of the video.

What is not included?

• Talent fee for anybody who appears in the video (sorry, we won’t pay for your appearance :)
• Travel / Accomodation (in case you live outside of Toronto and have to travel here)
• The wardrobe
• Any props you might desire. For example: luxury cars, a yacht or $15 Walmart lawn chairs (well, we might throw the chairs).
• Basically, you will be responsible for what goes in front of the camera. You might not spend a dime if it is just you performing or you can get favours from friends and family. It will be your call.
• Oh, almost forgot. You have to bring your own lunch ;)
